In week one July 7-11, Avery and Susan will lead the writers through writing exercises and experiments, as well as introducing the writers to the contemporary theatre landscape (attend theater, meet with professionals in the industry).

In week two July 14-18, the writers will focus primarily on writing their own one-act plays, which will then receive a public reading with professional actors.

Brooklyn Playwrights is open to all writers ages 13-18.
